Boiada Brazilian Grill was born from a shared dream between two lifelong friends from southern Brazil—Hélio Vieira and Josiane Ballin. Over years of conversations about their upbringing, culture, and love for the all-you-can-eat churrascaria experience, they realized they had the perfect mix of skills to bring a taste of Brazil to new communities.

Hélio begins his career in the restaurant industry, working his way up from the kitchen to general manager of a Brazilian steakhouse.

2017

A chance conversation leads Hélio and Josiane to discover their shared dream of restaurant ownership.

2018

After extensive market research, they choose Tri-Cities, WA, as the perfect place to introduce their first Brazilian steakhouse.

2019

Boiada Brazilian Grill opens in Kennewick, WA, bringing authentic Brazilian churrasco to the region.

2023

With incredible community support, Boiada expands to Spokane, WA, establishing itself as a premier dining experience in the Pacific Northwest.

2024

Boiada expands into Coeur d’Alene, ID, bringing authentic Brazilian churrasco to Idaho and further growing its presence in the Pacific Northwest.
